The goal of the climate change negotiations in the short term should be toeffectivelyrespondto the climate crisis with drastic reductions of greenhouse gases to avoid a catastrophe that appears certain if emissions continue on an upward trajectory.It is urgently required that in the coming months, in the context of the UN Conference on Climate Change, to be held in Qatar, and the subsequent and related events, thatrigorous decisions are taken, including but not limited to the following:…
